Peter in the BMW M3 for the Misano Six Hour ETCS
Jul 21, 2008 : Consistently quickest in Free Practice - by over a second - and narrowly pipped for pole - by less then seven hundredths of a second - Peter was justifiably confident of a good result in the Misano Six Hours. For the first half of the race it couldn't have gone better, with Nick handing over from second and Peter working through to the lead, but that was before fate stepped in . . .

Peter returns to Le Mans for a Classic weekend
Jul 17, 2008 : In June Peter was thundering around the Le Mans circuit in a state-of-the-art Aston Martin DBR9 - the pinnacle of GT1 racing in 2008. He was at it again last weekend, but this time the cars he raced were very different: the Le Mans-winning Aston Martin DBR1 of 1959, and a pair of stunning Ferraris from a few years later. Marginally slower they may have been, but Peter relished the opportunity none the less.

Strakka BMW Leads Spa 12 Hours
Jun 23, 2008 : The Strakka Racing BMW M3, co-driven by team regulars Peter Hardman and Nick Leventis, and joined for this one-off endurance event by fellow Briton Christian Vann, worked through from fifth on the grid to lead the BTCS Spa 12 Hours by the half-way stage. Up against a daunting array of specialised “silhouette” and touring cars, the M3 was the front-running conventional car in a race highlighted by major incidents, accidents and mechanical problems.

Propshaft Failure Sidelines Vitaphone Aston Martin
Jun 16, 2008 : The kind of mechanical failure that simply cannot be anticipated ended the race for Vitaphone's Aston Martin DBR9, co-driven by Peter Hardman, fellow Strakka team-mate Nick Leventis, and Vitaphone regular Alexandre Negrao. It was a disappointing end to what had been a promising run, but the trio acquitted themselves well and made an excellent first impression on their Aston Martin Le Mans debut.

Peter Qualifies Vitaphone Aston Martin for Le Mans 24 Hours
Jun 13, 2008 : Peter Hardman lapped the 13.6 kilometre Sarthe circuit in 3:53.475 to claim ninth in class for the Vitaphone Aston Martin DBR9 ahead of Saturday's 76th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
