May 11, 2009 : Strakka Racing’s three drivers, Peter Hardman, Nick Leventis and Danny Watts, spent much of yesterday’s Spa 1000 Kilometres playing catch-up after having to start the race from the pitlane. Without a series of minor glitches, they could have confidently hoped for a top-six finish, but the trio still put on a brave display of dicing through the field to record nineteenth overall at the chequered flag.

Strakka Racing Upbeat after Paul Ricard Test
Feb 27, 2009 : Strakka Racing’s trio of drivers, Peter Hardman, Nick Leventis and Danny Watts, came away from the official ACO Le Mans Series test at the Paul Ricard circuit feeling very positive about the outcome. The team’s new Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S took part in four out of the five available sessions, and emerged consistently third or fourth fastest in LMP1.

Feb 27, 2009 : Only four weeks after announcing the team’s bold decision to move up from GT1 to race a Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S in LMP1, the news that Strakka Racing’s entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours has been accepted by the ACO brought both delight and relief to the Silverstone-based outfit.

Strakka Racing Aiming for the Top
Jan 19, 2009 : Silverstone-based Strakka Racing has confirmed an agreement with Ginetta-Zytek that will see the team competing in the Le Mans Series this season with a Ginetta-Zytek GZ09S LMP1 chassis. The deal came about following a very successful track test in Spain towards the end of November, and means that Strakka’s regular driver pairing of Peter Hardman and Nick Leventis will be moving up into the top level of sportscar and endurance racing.

RAC TT Victory for Peter at Goodwood
Sep 23, 2008 : Peter Hardman achieved a remarkable double last weekend. Not only was he competing for Strakka Racing in the Silverstone 24 Hours, but he was also racing a 1963 Ferrari 330 LMB in the Goodwood Revival meeting near Chichester, ninety miles away on the south coast.
